practice makes perfect
practice makes perfect everyone says. in this matter im not writing about practicing as in, move your body kind of training, even though i might really use some in that direction as well.
It’s about writing itself. I used to do it a lot. I used to write every second day. I was writing a diary who was my best friend in some thoughts when i was little. btw is so hilarious to read that stuff today. all those things that bothered me - if you wanna know how much you have really changed, open your old diary or any type of written self-expression and voila. like you are reading stuff from totally another person. i guess it’s because i was one.
next to diary i wrote for my school newspaper and web. i remember how i used to produce 3 articles per day in my best times, just because i was “wired in”.
somehow i lost a track of that. i forgot to practice and the only times i had an opportunity for that kind of written self-expression was when i had to write some pr stuff or text for web or some proposals for my ex company. but other than business and didn’t write at all. and i feel i was missing that.
now i feel its time to go back to my love, and to make it feel easy and fun again. and to practice. and practice a little bit more.
cause likewise everything in life…practice makes perfect.
until next practice. good night.
